Orthotics prescribed at Circle Care Physiotherapy are custom-made foot inserts/insoles that can be placed into your footwear. Custom orthotics are medical devices designed to realign your feet to an anatomically efficient position to correct specific musculoskeletal conditions affecting them.

They are designed to fit an individual’s needs based on their body weight, the condition affecting their feet, and intended use.

Depending on an individual’s needs, custom orthotics can be designed to:

Our custom orthotics are specially designed to support your feet and improve walking, running, and performance biomechanics. They alter specific movements to avoid straining your legs and body, which reduces pain and helps your feet and the rest of your body realign.

Unlike one-size-fits-all over-the-counter devices, Custom Foot Orthotics are specifically crafted to fit a person’s unique foot structure.

At Circle Care Physiotherapy, our registered chiropodist and chiropractor will use a 3-Dimensional scan of your feet, combined with information gained by using state-of-the-art software developed by The Orthotic Group, TOG Gait Scan, which takes specific measurements and pictures of how the feet are functioning in great detail, while a person is walking.

Yes! Our chiropractors are able to offer custom orthotics assessments, however you will need a prescription from a medical doctor (family doctor or walk-in doctor) in order to get your custom orthotics. If you don’t have a family doctor, we can also assist you in getting a prescription. Please ask our reception team directly!

Depending on your insurance policy, some may also accept a prescription from a Chiropractor. Please contact your insurance to ask prior to be sure.
