If you see your insurance, we can bill to your insurance.
Direct Billing
The clinic is not responsible for knowing your insurance coverage, or the requirements for an appointment to be covered by your insurance. Some plans do not allow for direct billing, and some plans may still require patients to pay up front for their appointments. Double check with your insurance for details of your coverage prior to booking an appointment. When you book and attend an appointment, you are assuming full responsibility of the payment for that appointment.
Patients are solely responsible for the payment of their appointment.

We understand that insurance paperwork can be overwhelming and can prevent you from taking advantage of your insurance benefits.
Direct billing allows us to bill your insurance company directly after your visit, eliminating the need for you to deal with invoices, claims, and phone calls.
Allowing us to submit claims on your behalf from our clinic, simplifies your claim experience like never before.

Most of our services are covered by extended health coverages through work.
Some extended health plans may offer 100% coverage and unlimited visits. Other health plans may work similar to a bank account, where you can “spend” up to a certain dollar amount as you see fit. This is usually called a health spending account. While some health policies allow direct and electronic billing, some won’t. Only your specific plan provider can give you the details about your coverage and billing.
Some benefits plans will only reimburse the expense if it has been referred by a physician, please check with your insurance provider if this is the case before coming to the clinic.
We do accept direct billing for Psychotherapy services under Greenshield.
Direct billing for Osteopathy and Chiropody are not yet allowed for a handful of insurance companies, one of which includes Sunlife.

We require upfront payment for products prior to ordering. We will provide you with a valid receipt required to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please make sure you have, in most cases, a prescription indicating the need for the products, in order for them to be covered by insurance. If unsure, please contact your insurance company to clarify, and reach out to us if you have any questions.
-
Insurances will tell you that you’re 100% covered, but may leave out the maximum dollar amount that they will cover per visit at 100%. It is important to call your insurance company to clarify prior to your appointment to avoid any unexpected costs or confusions.
-
Absolutely not. This would be considered fraud.
